Reuland's crane and hoist motors have been the corner stone of our company for over 50 years.

Widely recognized by both the Crane Manufactures Association of America (CMAA) and the Hoist Manufactures Institute (HMI), a wide variety of designs and enclosures from fractional to 250 horsepower are available.

Motors can be ordered in 1800, 1200, 900, 720, and 600 rpm. Hoist designs from severe service to standby exist. Likewise, bridge and trolley motors from continuous service to infrequent duty are available. These motors come be both AC induction and Wound Rotor designs.

Typical crane & hoist duty motors are 15, 30, and 60-minute designs in open drip proof or non-ventilated enclosures. However, we offer a wide selection of alternate or custom duty ratings. For example, wound rotor motors are available in 120-minute duty as fan cooled or non-ventilated designs while scrap-handling cranes can be rated continuous duty as blower cooled units.

Conveyors, machine tools, door operators, speed reducers, cranes, hoists, and other industrial machinery requiring quick stop and/or holding torque. May be used in damp, dirty, or dusty environments.

General Purpose, EPAct Motors

Our EPAct motors combine an optimum design that delivers energy savings performance year after year. These motors are available in open dripproof (ODP) construction from 1/4 through 500 horsepower and in totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) enclosures from 1/4 through 450 horsepower. The EPAct motor comes in a variety of mounting configurations including rigid base, C-face rigid, close coupled JM and JP, and D-flange rigid. These motors are ideally suited for commercial applications such as heating, ventilating, air conditioning, pumping, and compressors.

The EPAct ODP motors incorporate a 1.15 service factor, class B insulation system, ball bearings, and cast iron frame 280T frame and above. Our EPAct motors also meet the NRCan Canadian efficiencies and are UL recognized and CSA certified.

Marathon’s EPAct TEFC motors combine a class F insulation system with a 1.15 service factor, ball bearings, and offers superior performance. They are available from stock in both rigid base and C-face rigid base designs.

Baldor AC Gearmotors are available in a wide variety of torques ranging from 15 to 627 in-lbs in both right angle and parallel shaft designs with industry standard mounting configurations. The Right Angle single reduction units feature an Internal Expansion Bladder and Mobil® SHC634 Synthetic oil for long maintenance free operation. The Internal Expansion Bladder keeps the lubrication free of contaminates by eliminating the need to vent the gearbox and allows all position mounting. This feature is exclusive to Baldor.

Servo Rated Gearheads

Servo Rated Gearheads
Baldor's low backlash GBSM-series of gearheads mount easily and directly onto the BSM C-series and N-series servo motors. These gearheads are designed for servo applications requiring precision, durability, and long trouble-free operation. The GBSM-series are planetary gearheads, which provide very high power transmission capability, torque multiplication, speed reduction and inertial matching. These are high efficiency gearheads. The standard GBSM gearheads are available in five different case sizes, which fit directly onto the five sizes of Baldor’s BSM servo motors. Mounting takes less than 2 minutes.

Baldor DC Gearmotors are available in 90 & 180 volts in both right angle and parallel shaft designs with industry standard mounting configurations. Speed Reducers

Baldor Speed Reducers are available with ratings up to 25 HP. Our Right Angle Speed Reducers feature heavy-duty cast iron construction, chill cast bronze gears, precision ground worms. All units are pre-lubricated for life with Klubersynth UH1-6-460 food grade (H1) oil. 900 Series speed reducers are dimensionally interchangeable with many other worm gear speed reducers. Baldor also offers our 1000 Series in-line heavy-duty helical gear drives. Models include double & triple reduction units in foot or flange mounted arrangements. Available in ratios from 1.5:1 to 250:1 and are also pre-lubricated with Klubersynth UH1-6-460 oil. All Baldor Speed Reducers are available from stock at any one of our 35 North American warehouses.
